1) Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services and website operated by Vitaminds, trading as Med Mitra (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Note: We are a staffing & care-coordination provider. We are not a hospital or a substitute for emergency medical services.
2) Scope of Services
- Hospital Attendants — bedside assistance, basic hygiene, companionship, non-clinical help.
- Home Nursing (GNM/ANM/BSc) — nursing care as per prescription & training.
- Elder Support — mobility assistance, meals support, reminders, companionship.
- Physiotherapy (via partners) — by qualified professionals as prescribed.
- At-home Lab Collection (via partners) — sample pickup & report coordination.
- Doctor Booking (via partners) — facilitation of appointments/tele-consults.
Services are subject to availability, case suitability, and safety assessment.
3) Booking & Onboarding
- Share requirement details (patient condition, location, timings). We propose available staff and rates.
- Booking is confirmed after advance payment and address verification.
- For hospital duties, client or attendant pass must be arranged by the family (as per hospital rules).
- We may refuse/stop service if safety, compliance, or suitability concerns arise.
Documents & Verification
Our staff undergo ID verification and basic screening. We also collect emergency contacts from clients for coordination.
4) Fees, Payments & Taxes

| Mode | UPI/Bank Transfer/Card to company accounts only. No direct cash to staff. |
| Taxes | All government taxes/levies are extra as applicable. |
| Overtime | Work beyond agreed shift is billed at applicable overtime/night rates. |
5) Cancellations & Refunds
- Before start: Full refund of advance minus payment gateway/processing charges.
- After start: Charges apply for days/shifts already rendered. Any balance is refundable per pro-rata.
- For client no-show/unreachable on start day, one shift minimum may be charged.

6) Replacement & Backup
- If a staff member is unsuitable or unavailable, we attempt a replacement within a reasonable time, subject to availability.
- Short handover/overlap may be required for continuity.
- Replacement does not waive due charges for services already delivered.
7) Allowed & Restricted Tasks
Non-Medical Attendants (Allowed)
- Basic hygiene (sponge bath, grooming), feeding support, mobilization with assistance.
- Bed making, linen change, room tidying (light). Non-clinical vitals check if trained.
- Hospital queue help, document support (as permitted by facility).
Non-Medical Attendants (Restricted)
- No invasive procedures, injections, IV/NG/urinary catheter insertion or management.
- No wound dressing unless done by nursing staff as prescribed.
- No medication administration without explicit doctor prescription & nurse supervision.
Nurses (GNM/ANM/BSc)
- May perform nursing tasks as per qualification and valid prescription (e.g., dressing, catheter care) and company protocols.
- Controlled drugs, complex procedures, or tasks outside scope are not permitted.
Emergency: Call hospital/ambulance. Our staff may assist but are not a substitute for emergency care.
8) Client Responsibilities
- Provide safe environment, adequate space, drinking water, and washroom access for staff.
- Provide supplies/equipment (gloves, masks, adult diapers, prescribed items) unless otherwise agreed.
- Share accurate medical information, allergies, and prescriptions.
- Avoid assigning work beyond agreed scope (e.g., hazardous cleaning, lifting beyond safety).
9) Conduct, Safety & House Rules
- Respectful conduct is mandatory for both parties. Harassment, abuse, or unsafe conditions lead to immediate termination.
- No personal monetary transactions with staff. Tips/gifts discouraged.
- For live-in/night duties, safe sleeping arrangement must be provided.
- Client valuables should be secured; we are not responsible for unattended personal belongings.
10) Privacy & Data
We collect minimal personal data for booking, service delivery, and support. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- We may contact you via phone/WhatsApp/SMS/email for service updates.
- CCTV/audio recording at client premises is your responsibility and must comply with law and dignity of staff.
11) Website & Intellectual Property
All website content (text, graphics, logos) is owned by Vitaminds/Med Mitra or licensors. You may not reproduce or use content without consent.
12) Liability, Medical Disclaimer & Indemnity
- Information on our site is general and not medical advice. Always follow your doctor’s prescription.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the specific service period giving rise to the claim.
- You agree to indemnify the Company against losses arising from misuse of services, misinformation, or breach of these Terms by you.
13) Non-Solicitation / Direct Hiring
You agree not to hire, engage, or solicit our staff directly for 12 months from their last assignment with you. If you still choose to engage directly, a placement fee equal to two (2) months of the agreed monthly rate becomes payable to the Company.
14) Governing Law, Disputes & Force Majeure
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Courts at Guwahati, Assam shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
- We are not liable for delays/failures due to events beyond reasonable control (force majeure).
15) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services/website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
